ORBAT layouts, and site styles on every page: New: Choose how your public Order of battle page looks: a List (as before), a Chart joined by lines, or Cards for each squad. Find it in Website, Site and schedule, under the styles. Changed: Task force, Sci-fi, Grimdark, Wartime and Antique now dress the ORBAT, operation pages, gallery and join form to match their home pages, not just the colours. New backgrounds for your site: New: Beside the terrain, the top of your home page can now show stars, a hex grid, a plotting grid, camouflage or a radar screen, drawn in your colours with nothing to upload. Most can move gently: stars twinkle, hex cells light up, the grid scans and the radar sweeps. Choose in Website, Site and schedule, Background. New: Any of these patterns can also sit faintly behind every page of your site. Five new site styles, and home page sections of your own: New: Five new public site styles, each with its own home page layout: Task force (a full-height picture with huge headings), Sci-fi (a framed screen readout), Grimdark (a centred war banner in black, red and gold), Wartime (a field manual on paper) and Antique (an old broadsheet). Choose one in Website, Site and schedule, Style. New: Add your own sections to the home page: text, a picture beside your text, a wide picture with text over it, or a quote, each with an optional button. Press Add your own section under Home page sections. New: New optional home page sections: a status strip across the top banner (your op nights and the next operation in the visitor's own time), recent operations with their pictures, your trailer, and How to join steps. They start switched off. Co-owners, and paid plans that move with the unit: New: Hosted units can have up to three co-owners with owner rights in the console. The owner invites them from the unit page on MerlinHQ (Settings, Co-owners). Paying, handing the unit over and deleting it stay with the owner. Changed: Handing a unit to someone else now works on paid plans too. The old subscription stops, and the new owner keeps the plan until the time already paid for runs out, then it moves to the free plan unless they subscribe. Members choose what the bot DMs them: New: Members can choose which direct messages the bot sends them: everything, only things about them, or nothing. They use /dms in Discord or Messages from the bot in their member area. Recruitment shows when a message could not be sent. Changed: Game servers and Modpacks moved into the Operations section of the console. Gallery is now Screenshots and Media library is now Pictures and approval, both under Website. New: Hosted units can now be handed to a new owner from the unit page on MerlinHQ (Settings, Hand this unit to someone else).
